What time does the crawl start?

The crawl begins at 7:00 PM. Check-in usually opens 30 minutes early at the first stop.

Check-in is at Austin Garden (1209 E 6th St, Austin, TX 78702, USA). Bring the QR code from your ticket — we scan it at the door.

What is the dress code?

Costumes are highly encouraged and part of the fun. Most venues have a relaxed dress code; some require closed-toe shoes after dark.

Yes — entry is 21+ at every stop. We check ID at the first venue and may re-check at others.

What is included with my ticket?

Your ticket covers cover charges at all participating venues, drink specials, and access to themed activities. Drinks themselves are sold at the bar.

What happens if it rains?

The crawl runs rain or shine — all venues are indoors. We do not offer refunds for weather.

Tickets are non-refundable but transferable. You can hand off your QR to a friend any time before the start.

Wizards Night Out is a spellbinding bar crawl where witches, wizards, and magical misfits take over the city for a night of themed drinks, costumes, music, and bar hopping. Start the night at check in, grab your wristband and official crawl map, then make your way through the participating bars however you choose.

Expect specialty cocktails, discounted drinks, no cover at participating venues, and plenty of photo worthy moments all night long. Come dressed in your best robes, house colors, professor fit, dark wizard look, or magical creature costume.

This is a self guided bar crawl. Check in, get your wristband, then use the crawl map to visit participating bars in any order you want.

Check In First

Start at the official check in location during the listed check in window. Show your ticket and get your event wristband.

Get Your Wristband

Your wristband is what gives you access to the crawl perks, including participating bars, exclusive drink specials, and no cover at participating venues that charge cover.

Use the Crawl Map

After check in, use the event map to see every participating bar, their specials, and directions.

Go in Any Order

You are not stuck with one group or one route. Visit the bars in whatever order you want, at your own pace, with your own crew.

Wizards Night Out is a wizards-themed bar crawl. Dress up in your best wizard, witch, or magical creature costume, explore participating bars, enjoy exclusive drink specials, and party with hundreds of fellow fans.

Your ticket includes event entry, your wristband for access to all participating bars, and exclusive drink specials at each venue throughout the night. Some ticket tiers include additional perks.

Costumes are encouraged and most guests go all out — robes, house colors, wands, scarves, magical creatures, you name it. But if costumes aren't your thing, you're still welcome. You'll have more fun if you dress up though.

Check in at the starting venue to get your wristband. After that, you're free to visit the participating bars in any order you want at your own pace. Each bar has its own drink specials and vibe.

Your ticket gets you access to exclusive drink specials at every participating bar — typically $3-5 select drinks. This isn't an open bar, but the deals are significantly cheaper than regular prices.

Check-in opens at the time listed on your ticket. We recommend arriving early — the line moves fast but the best start is right at check-in time so you can hit all the bars.

Tickets are only available online and often sell out before the event. There are no door sales. Don't wait — once they're gone, they're gone.

Yes, Wizards Night Out is strictly 21+. You must present a valid, non-expired physical government-issued ID at check-in. No photos, screenshots, or photocopies accepted.

The event happens rain or shine. All participating bars are indoor venues, so weather won't stop the party.

Yes, there is street parking and paid lots near the starting venue. We recommend rideshare (Uber/Lyft) since you will be visiting multiple bars.

All sales are final. However, you can transfer your ticket to a friend — just contact us at [email protected] with the new guest name and email.
